Sulcorebutia are high altitude cacti from the mountains of Bolivia.
They enjoy a cool winter rest to encourage flowering.
The flowers are generally a vibrant colour of purple or red.
CACTUS CARE GUIDE:
- Cacti need sunshine, but on scorching days, give them some shade.
- Put cacti in bright spots like a greenhouse or on a windowsill.
- During winter, keep cacti cool and dry.
- Water moderately from March to October, but only when the soil is completely dry.
- Stop watering in winter.
- Use well-draining soil for your cacti.
